According to Cebuana Lhuillier’s press release, the new framework completely bypasses slower, more expensive traditional legacy settlement systems, allowing the company and its global partners to fund local settlement accounts directly through stablecoins. The blockchain infrastructure will be deployed across its entire massive retail footprint of more than 3,500 physical branches.
